Shahjahan S.S. Khan, born in Dhaka, Bangladesh and Graduated from Dhaka University and completed MSS in Economics from Jagannath University College under Dhaka University.
Mr. S. S. Khan associate with Professor Emeritus Dr. A. K. M. Kafiluddin, Founder Director, National Institute of Preventive and Social Medicine (NIPSOM), Mohakali, Dhaka since 2005. Before joining NIPSOM he served about 28 years in different positions in BOC Bangladesh Ltd, a British based multinational company, in Dhaka. He has expertise in the fields of Store, Cash, HR and Administration Management. He also acted as reporter of BOC house magazine “Darpan”. Besides his regular responsibilities in BOC, he also performed safety activities, like “Safety Committee Member”, “Safety Representative”, “Safety Reference Library Caretaker”, “Inspector for Personal Protective Equipment & Hand-tools” and “Member of Emergency Service Team”. He completed different courses and received training on “Auto-mechanism” from Dacca Polytechnic Institute, “First Aid Training” from Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, “Fire Fighting Training” from Bangladesh Fire Service, “English Language Course” from Young Men’s Christian Association, “Disciplinary Action-its Principles & Practice” from Institute of Personnel Management-Bangladesh, “Analyst Programmers Course” from Informatics Computer Centre, “General Tools Maintenance” from ILO, Dhaka and on “Human Relations and Motivation at Work Place” from the external sources conducted by BOC.
In recognition of his long service in BOC, the company has honoured him with the “Long Service Certificate” in the year 1997. Mr. Khan preferred early retirement in the year 2005 from BOC, and moved from Industrial Environment to Health and Safety Field to get a different touch.

Nahid Sultana, born in Bogra, Bangladesh in the year 1972. She graduated (BSc. Hons) in the year 1997 and Post Graduated (MSc. in Home Management & Housing) in the year 1999 from Dhaka University. Nahid Sultana also obtained MPH degree from National Institute of Preventive and Social Medicine (NIPSOM), Mohakhali, Dhaka, under Dhaka University in the year 2006 and her thesis in MPH was “ Nutritional status & dietary habit among the female garment’s worker”. She also has completed a Diploma on “Common Wealth Youth Programme” from Bangladesh Open University in the year 2008.
Nahid Sultana completed different courses and received training, like “Report writing skill” from CEC, “Training on WATSON : Arsenic, Purified water, etc” from AAS, “Training on IT, Computer Assembling, MS & Windows XP, Internet Explorer” from Q-Soft, “Training on data entry & data management” from DPC, “Training on Maternal & Child Health” from NIPSOM.

Attended workshop on Primary Prevention of Diabetes Mellitus in Bangladesh (PPDM) for developing skill in identifying risk factors, creating motivational capacity for adopting lifestyle and advocacy for public health policy in prevention of Diabetes Mellitus and other Non-communicable Diseases (NCDs) held on 10th October, 09 at BIRDEM, organised by Bangladesh Diabetic Somiti.
Attended in a two day long workshop on “Diabetes Education & Training Programme” held in 13th & 14th October’09 for diabetes educations, developed by the Health Education Unit of National Healthcare Network (NHN) on institution of Bangladesh Diabetic Somiti.
She has expertise on “Training on staff development with facilitation”, “Development of research, monitoring & evaluation system for project”, Informative report writing and qualitative documentation” and “Tem management leadership with strong interpersonal skill”.
